Really good AF camera for newby and hobbyist photographers

I've taken some really good photos with the Minolta Maxxum 5 using a 50mm f/1.7 lens and some decent to pretty good photos (in good light) with the 70-300 Macro lens. The Maxxum 5 is a breeze to learn and use. First 35mm film camera I ever bought that wasn't a fixed lens P&S or a wanna be 35mm SLR with interchangeable lens capability (Minolta QTSi). If I had the time and resources to develop my own film, I'd be using this camera a whole lot more than I do.Read full review
