Outstanding value for money and great ability
In 1986 I bought my first Minolta X300 together with a Minolta MD 35-70 Zoom lens with macro f3.5. from a little camera shop in Wrexham where I live. At the time I was on leave from my water engineer's job for Wateraid, in East Africa, and wanted a decent camera set up to go back with. Well, what a combination, this fully manual SLR was outstanding, and paired with the bespoke 35-70 lens produced some impressive results. That was 37 years ago but that performance is still there today and the X300 built is amazing. I still have one, and it still produces outstanding pictures. I would recommend it to anyone planning to take up film photography. There is no point and shoot, you have to use your brain with one of these, you make the decisions on aperture, and shutter speed, and the camera takes the shot. You will not be disappointed and you will learn about photography very quickly.Read full review

Awesome product. Great value
Great product at a good price. Couple of scraps and dints. But it's a 30 year old product. It's expected. Haven't gone through a film yet. But I bet the results are as good as I hope
