Bought for my elderly mother who has always had constipation issues and was addicted to ex lax. Thought this would be easier on her system but after several days of putting in her hot tea...nothing happened....so had to resort to giving her half of dosage of ex lax and it worked. This stuff works but it's a bit pricey. I mix it with orange juice. It really is flavorless and not gritty. You need to stir it up and then let it sit for a few minutes and stir it again.
