Lifesaver but needs work

I love this pump. I do small engine work and this pump allows me to do oil changes efficiently. But it needs work, I plan on upgrading it. I'm going to add a piece of pvc pipe to the side to keep the hose end from making a mess. And I'm going to bolt it to a piece of plywood for a better base. The main connection hose likes to wiggle it's way free from the rubber plug, I plan on possibly epoxying them together. Other than that, its perfectly usable and helpful as is.Read full review

Cleaner oil change method

I have known about the Mity Vac oil change system for years. Finally got around to buying one. I love it. My only complaint is there is no built in holder for the suction hoses. Not a deal breaker. I used an extra piece of pvc pipe I had sitting in the garage. Zip tied it to the side of the unit. Keeps everything neat and clean for next time its used. Wasted 2 hours... ended up changing the Santa Fe oil the ol way.
