OEM parts are not always and necessarily best choice to replace worn parts, but it appears that no compatibles work well in MOEN products, judging based on Internet sources. This cartridge though, in my my experience, goes bad by accumulating sediments on piston part starting to move hard - not the best choice of material used? Yet, it works reliably, without leaks, for years; easy to replace. Search for the best pricing and you can't go wrong.Read full review
