I am actually using this to keep my 10 month old beaglador (beagle labrador mix) dog out of my combo recyclables and canned goods closet. It works so well and also has a low profile. Before I got this I used a bungee cord around the door knobs and it was a real pain to undo and redo each time I used the closet.
