I’ve only tried this once, without any success. Tried to remove an olive from an old piece of 15mm copper pipe. The compression fitting had probably been over tightened, as the olive was embedded into the pipe. The tool damaged the end of the pipe before the olive would move. A well made tool, and probably works well in most situations. I tested it in extreme conditions where splitting the olive was probably the best option.Read full review
