I bought it as a gift for my daughter for Christmas. Can’t wait for her to open it. Brand new and happy with my purchase. It was bigger then I thought also.

Broken
I am not sure if the item was broken during shipping or just defective. The inside of the toy looked slightly wet when I opened the bottom of the cauldron. I purchased this in October and put it up for Christmas. It has been in the top of a closet since it arrived, so I know it wasn’t damaged here. It’s Christmas morning, the toy is charged up according to the instructions but the cauldron makes no noise and doesn’t light up. It doesn’t respond to the wand toy at all. It makes a low, repetitive thumping noise when turned on. I paid dearly for this toy to make sure my child got one for Christmas. The plush toy works fine but the cauldron, which is supposed to be the fun part, is clearly broken. Read full review

Cute, unique toy
This is a Christmas gift for my granddaughter but I opened it to test it out and it is adorable! The lil creature is very colorful, adorable, and makes cute sounds. I did not test anything else but I'm sure it's going to be lots of fun for my granddaughter and friends.

I can see why this was one of "THE" toys this Christmas. Truly innovative toy.
The magical mixie is truly amazing in the process used to "create" it. Even as an adult, if you haven't seen a video of the toy works to make the Mixie appear it will make you shake your head. Making the potion, adding the ingredients, tapping with the magic wand, all the sound effect and then on top of that a thick mist that hides the "magic" moment of the mixie appearing. It is a REALLY well designed toy. Once you have the mixie made and out the creature itself is cute and makes a number of equally cute noises. Don't waste your money
After following all the steps, no mist ever came. Inner part of bowl did not turn to reveal the furry stuffed animal. We tried three different kits (one that came with the bowl and two extra kits that were purchased separately. Total waste of money.Read full review
