Makes ironing less of a chore, love it.

This is my second Morphy Richards steam generating iron, and this one has an auto descale feature. I was disappointed my first iron didn’t last longer, but I loved it so much that when it stopped working I had to have another. The steam making unit is quite heavy, but the iron itself isn’t. It also dry irons, if you want steam you just squeeze the little lever under the handle, it becomes second nature after a couple of uses. I’m no fan of ironing but this makes light work of it. It’s especially good if you let your laundry get really dry, it will still get the creases out, even jeans. You will need to buy de ionised water, presently £1 for £2.5 litres at leading supermarket, this will last me 2 or 3 months.Read full review...

Purchased to replace a faulty Delonghi steam generator Iron, and this one is far superior. The actual Iron is light, the water tank is large, and the unit has a simple straight forward control system allowing constant steam production. Clothes are therefor able to be ironed without applying much downward force. The long hose and flex allows the unit to be used adjacent to the actual ironing board and is easy to stow away after use. I love this iron

I always look at this make and this is a replacement. It is easy to use and instruction book is short and precise. The actual iron feels a bit heavier than the previous iron on the first use. This particular model is easier to empty. I like that you can adjust the steam output separately to the fabric so good for creased garments which may not be linen or jeans. Only used it four times so early days yet and have noticed it doesn't take as much water as my previous model but I think this has something to do with dirty water drainage.Read full review...

Amazing - sturdy with great feaures

Amazing, does ironing in half the time. Sturdy and a good weight but the iron itself is light. Descales automatically but is quite noisy but a small price to pay as no need to buy any descaling products, easy fill. I like the way that the iron locks onto the top of the generator which makes it easy to carry. The cord does get hot so be careful not to touch it whilst ironing. I would suggest investing in a large ironing board to stand the generator on. All in all a great generator iron.Read full review...

One of the best I've owned.

This iron is very efficient and easy to use. It has a large water tank which is very useful when you have s lot of items to iron. Brilliant results

This iron was well worth the money I spent.
I hate ironing - using this iron makes ironing faster, easier and gets brilliant results. I really don’t mind having to iron now because it takes me much less time and the clothes look amazing.
I have nothing negative to say about it all.
The iron is light weight and glides easily with the powerful steam from the generator.
I’ve ironed the toughest of creases and materials and it works every time. I’ll never go back to buying an ordinary iron now.

Best iron on the market

Easy and lightweight to use. Descaling is a doddle, it does it itself. The amount of steam generated gives a terrific finish, we have a guesthouse and I like the bed linen and napkins to look clean, crisp and sharp and this iron achieves that.
