Great machine for making soups in a hurry

I have used this soup maker twice so far and am very happy with the performance. I would recommend defrosting frozen veg a little before use as it does blend better. Still learning how to get the best use out of machine but it’s all down to trial and error. Overall, satisfied and pleased that I have purchased it, also it was a good price. Down side, the parcel was dropped over the gate and box was a little damaged but machine appears to be working fine so far.Read full review...

Does what it says on the box!

Easy to use, easy to clean. As all the best cooks say, just bung in any vegetables lurking in the fridge with nothing to do, a diced potato, some stock, butter and, if necessary, oil and the soup comes out perfectly. If there are just two of you there’ll be enough to freeze or have later as well.Read full review...

New toy!

I bought this as reconditioned, and ‘so far so good’. I have only used it once, but was very pleased with the resulting soup. I’ve sent for a soup maker recipe book to inspire me, as one didn’t come with the box!!
One comment though. For one person the smaller version would have given me enough soup for myself and maybe a couple to freeze, but that maybe wouldn’t be enough for others needs? I am very limited for surface and storage space too, hence by thoughts about a smaller version.

An all round great product !

I chose this particular soup maker as it has the saute function which I find useful when making some soups. It makes 4-5 generous portions which was another selling point I liked. It is easy to use and easy to clean, an all round great product.Read full review...

Easy to use

I bought this soup maker after my daughter told me she had one and it's great. There is no waste you can have a different soup every day if you want and it only takes minutes easy to use and clean .

Quick & easy!

I wonder now why I didn’t buy one of these soup makers years ago. I’ve tried various recipes, so far I love the tomato soup the best, but all are so tasty and quick. 19 minutes from start to finish! Absolutely super! (Excuse the pun)Read full review...

So glad I bought this!!

I've been so pleased with this purchased! I ummed and ahhed as I thought what's the difference between this and a saucepan and blender and I think the first answer is speed. Smooth soup cooked in 21 minutes is great! Secondly you just put the ingredients in and switch it on. No stirring or checking inbetween times. Thirdly, because it's quick and easy, it encourages you to make tasty, nutritious soups from scratch so you know what's in them. I'm very pleased with mine!Read full review...

Superb soup!

Very quick, easy way to make soup using whatever vegetables you have to hand.
A minor criticism is that you have to watch vegetables carefully whilst sautéing, as can quickly burn the base.
This doesn’t detract, however, from finished product. Read full review...

Simplify's soups and the clean up

I always have enjoyed making soups over autumn and winter but the time taken to cook traditionally in a pan allow to cool before blitzing in a smoothy maker then the clean up could be off putting. When the base and body of my smoothy maker came apart when making Fresh corn soup - it was a disaster and the smoothy maker was no more. I decided to invest in a soup maker thinking it would provide a practical option whilst I have building work done in New Year. I am surprised by how much I love it. The ability to sauté, cook in 21 mins with blending for a smooth soup and 28 mins for chunky is great. More importantly it is really easy to clean. From start to finish with chopping of veg and clean up after I can be done in 40 mins. It is also relatively light weight, easy to store due to compact design. Read full review...
