I could never understand the point of a soup maker when you could just use a saucepan !
but since visiting a friend who made me soup for lunch in one I literally went home and ordered it immediately.. I now made soup in it every day .. also great for making fresh tomato sauce for pasta. Very easy to use and clean.

This is my second soup maker, I have a lot of soup and this is worked hard, my last one I had for quite a few years without any problems. It is so easy to use, just throw some chopped vegetables into it, add a stock pot, herbs or garic if you want, put hot water in, switch on and you have soup. Supermarkets now sell soup packs at a reasonable price which you can use as well. I freeze mine in meal sizes as I live on my own. Read full review

This is an amazing piece of equipment, and one I wouldn't be without. It's one of the easiest devices I've ever handled. It's completely idiot-proof and it means I can make fresh soup any time I like. I particularly enjoy using my own home-grown produce, and the 1.6 litre capacity means I can prepare vegetables in large batches and freeze the soup if necessary.
I haven't used the other functions of the soup-maker as yet, ie smoothie maker and blender, but I'm sure I will find it every bit as easy as creating my own soups.Read full review
