Terry Pratchett's Discworld has become an world wide literary legend with millions of fans. Mort is book four in the series and the book which is most accessible to a new reader to the Discworld - a fantasy world that is a parody of many events that have happened or could of happened in real life.
When Death (the man in black and with a scythe decides its time to take an apprentice so he can have some time off, he finds a small boy called Mortimer or Mort. Mort soon finds out that dying is not easy and being death is just as hard. a great introduction to the discorld series if you have not read them you really should - not your average science fantasy book!Read full review...
