Game is fun but picture of the box was advertisment and the game came only as a cartridge. Took awhile to get the game started but was able to get it running.

It’s an okay game
It’s very slow an unlike most mortal kombat games an the joystick oh don’t get me started with how well the joystick on the N64 pairs with this game well it doesn’t. I have never beat the game as I give up near the end.Read full review...

There are better Mortal Kombat games out there.
I would say it was a fun game in lots of ways, but when you play you just ask yourself things. 1: Why do you have to EARN the ice power when you are specially brought from the dead as a master of the abilty. 2: Ever think of freezing water and how can the water boss block the freezing attack? 3: Why does he scream for his mom when he dies (certain ways) or that a sound error mine has? 4: How can a guy reapper behind you after throwing him in a death trap, then have HIM kick you in (some like cliffs, the mashers, water)? 5: Why would people make stuff that only someone immortal can get hrough with ease and would take the creators years to get through with even ladders? 6: How can you block machinegun fire with your own arms up? It has good but extremely unlikely death traps. Well, other than those, I would say it had good graphics for the time period in tecnology it was made in, weird sound, needs a better title screen, and I would recomend it to those wanting something to play that is so weird that it is fun.Read full review...

Mortal Kombat Mythologies(N64)
If you're curious, go ahead and give it a shot. It's super tough though, mostly due to unfair AI and a lot of trial-and-error attempts to figure out various traps and pitfalls.
Great old school game
Awesome for the Ultimate MK fan. A must have for the N64 collection.
Only for the die-hard MK fan
Where to even start... the game audio is terrible, you have to listen to possibly the worst music in video game history. The graphics are OK considering its a 1997 N64 game, there is 3-d in some parts but mostly like OddWorld as far as moving and whatnot (2D). The levels (6 total) are kind of fun but the bosses are unreasonably hard to beat (especially the one in the wind level, level 2). All of your enemies look like the same bald ugly monks as the level before. The story-line is interesting but there are no clips or anything, its like a still-frame slideshow with that lame music added. Overall its challenging, boring, and short (there are only 6 levels and they dont take long), ill give it 2 out of 5 stars just cuz of Sub-Zeros awesomeness.Read full review...
Bought it just for collecting. Game play was and is rough.
