Fighting without thinking in 2 players mode is entertaining!

I wanted to have one game where I can fight with my friends without any necessary brain activity that is why I looked up the Mortal Kombat serials. I chose this specific one because it looked interesting to be able to fight with Superman and the other super heroes as well.
The game has completed my wish. With my friends we have spent some good time playing with it without knowing the specific combos. Playing with it felt the same way as it was when I first played with the Mortal Kombat 1 on PC.
My negative experiences with this game were the number of character which you can choose to play (I thought there will be much more), the hitting combos are really hard to comply (it probably my fault not the game's) and the story is a little lame...

Absolutely love the game

This game is great. I play it with my son all the time.
Takes me back to when I used to play the older Mortal combat games.
Graphics are what to expect from an older game. But they are good!

Great game! A classic!

I bought this game for a friend of mine and he says he loves it. He enjoys playing with his brother and friends!!!!

Hmmmmm....what tosay?

This is the best game in MK series

The guy who gave this game one star probably has no friends. Why on earth would you rate a fighting game based on your singleplay experience???

This game is great. Here are the reasons.

1.) It is quite easy to get the basics (blocking / special moves / jump hits etc).

2.) It is very hard to master. You have a lot of areas to improve - from length of your combos to "hard special moves".

Special moves work in like most fighting games - press a 3-4 button combo in correct order and character does special move.

Hard special move - in addition the the 3-4 button combo, you will have to do another 3-4 button combo BUT with SPECIFIC timing.

3.) Big variety of characters - you can have Batman vs Superman fight !

Some are better at range, some are good up close. Some have awesome specials, some have awesome combos etc.

4.) Graphics are awesome.

5.) Arenas affect gameplay (if youre good enough - you can push your character off a ledge or push him through a wall).

We still play this game every now and then. Gather on a friday, have a few beers - "beat each other up" and go have some fun downtown.

This is hands down the best MK game on PS3 or any platform for that matter.
