Motorola HKN6184C USB Programming Cable - Black

I actually bought this cable to program Mototurbo radios. It’s work great!
Nothing to do with the cable, but when I installed the mototurbo software on my company computer, the software kept saying could not find cable. This was on a new computer with windows 10. I tried the cable on my personal computer, a few years older with windows 10 and the cable worked fine.
When I installed the software, had a error of a C++ driver that wouldn’t install. This was causing my problem with reading the radio.
My IT guy is going to help me look into the issue with that computer.
Cable works great other than that. Good strong quality assembly.

Program Away!

Plug and program is a good review for this programing cable. Plugs into the control head if you have a dash mount XTL or APX. I’ve used it with APX 6500 and 8500 in dash and remote configurations. This cable flat out works like two dogs and comes at an unbeatable price. USB is nice and doesn’t require any additional hardware like the old school stuff of yesterday. Read full review

Motorola 5550e programming cable

Uses the mic jack. Works as it should. I think it fits into the mic jack better than the cheaper cables.
