A limited use toy

This 360 camera MOD works very well, and is a fun little toy to experiment with, but I have yet to discover any practical purpose for the camera. After playing with it for a few days and uploading some 360 photos and videos to FB, it has just about served its maximum purpose. I can imagine that perhaps a real estate agent might put it to better use for showing houses, etc., but for the common consumer, it is little more than a novelty toy. Very Fun, Sometimes A Little Dark Without Manual Settings

I have been wanting to try this out for some time, and this was a great price point to do so. The ability to capture spherical panoramas is very fun, and the interface for viewing them works great, though I'm still looking for the best way to share them with others.

The auto exposure in the camera app tends to produce dark ground imagery and great looking skys when overcast, and the usual tapping motions to adjust for specific subjects doesn't seem to work. I was able to manually change the exposure and other settings to improve parts I cared about however.Read full review

If you are into 360 photography and you have a Moto Z then this is ideal :)

Attaches to your phone, no separate camera to carry around, integrates with the builtin Moto camera app so any third party remote shutter app or device will work with the mod

Also the mod has a handy button at the rear so you can hold away from you and press the button without having to hold your phone and tap the screen

Room for improvement

Very clever camera with options to take wide angle pictures and 360 video. Video quality is good enough but could be better and should have more resolution options like 720p and 60FPS.
