G30 2021 another Motorola bargain

I purchased 2 phones to replace 2x g7 power that were approaching two years old.
The phone is a definite upgrade from them with a similar sized battery, a better camera, NFC and Android 11.
So far I find that battery life is slightly worse than the g7power with a maximum of one full day of general use. The screen is fine for general use but suffers from the normal lack of brightness in direct sunlight. The camera has a nice portrait mode but I've not found night vision mode that useful yet. It has 128gb of storage which is excellent although time will tell how quickly it fills up. It feels fast enough for what I want it to do but I'm not a demanding games player.

Improvement on previous models

I had the Moto g original, g4 , then g7. I only changed the 7 after breaking it. The g30 is a good continuation of the brand. If you've owned one before you will know what you're getting.

Good Value phone

I'm delighted with this mobile phone. Much larger than I anticipated but good. Initially when I didn't find manual in box, I was a little sceptical, but actually it doesn't need. It has step by step instruction after you switch it one the first time. Very handy apps and fuctions, good camera etc. Only thing is so far I've been notified to upgrade things so many times which feels a bit overdone. All others are pretty good.
