These are genuine used Motorola OEM batteries with the correct Impress charging chip. They will report their charge and life health status to the radio for display.

Mine arrived with 95% and 97% battery life left in them, and charged properly after a discharge / recharge cycle. There is hand engraving on the case as described, but only visible when the battery is dismounted from the radio.
