Motorola Moto G third generation.
As an "old fogey" who still considers a phone to be a device with which you can actually TALK to people I was devistated when my old Motorola flip phone eventually died after more than a decade of devoted service.
I looked at dozens of "simple" mobile phones [soon realising that open to answer a call and close to end it was no longer a posibility]. I have had Motorolas for donkey's years so decided to go for another, the Moto G 3rd Generation, which came at a quarter of the price my daughter paid for her phone on which she rarely actually speaks to anyone!
Not used to having such a large screen, and so many facilities, it took me time to get used to the new Moto but as it's so simple to use with the very latest Android the learning curve was actually a pleasure!
I'm now intrigued. My Moto brings me the news, downloads my emails, tells me where the nearest pub is, has superb maps, and will even get me home if I get lost. It's also great at being a phone, will send texts [which I dont use] and is built like a tank. The screen is pretty good and it will handle most games, which I also don't use. It lasts at least three or four days on a charge [the old flip phone would go well over a week] and it's not so large as to be a problem in your pocket.
Perhaps, as my kids keep telling me, "it's not really a smart phone", but it does everything I will ever want - and a lot more.
I'm now curious to see how long it lasts. Will it outlive the old flip, or even me? Who knows.

Worse than the previous model
Has less space for apps Has done away with the useful notification light for messages etc Is bigger than its predecessor All in all a step back from the model it replaces Have put it back in the box and continuing to use my old phone Apparently a widget is available to activate the message received light BUT this is not available to UK buyers!Read full review

Easy to use phone.
Works well on bluetooth, does everything it should Good for travelling due to size and outstanding battery life. Battery outlasts per charge iPhone 6S and Samsung by at least x 2.

Best mobile phone I've used.
I've had several differnet leading brand smart phones and this is the best.
Only issue is it does not work with most SD cards, if you need more memory later
Almost a decade of battery life with continuos
Excellent 4G pocket size phone with incredible battery life .Extended storage with SD card and 5mp camera sufficient for everyday pictures and easy to use .

Moto G XT1032
A great little phone running kit Kat 4.4.2.
Decent battery life and in virtually unmarked condition. Phone was unlocked and is running perfectly on giffgaff I have the always on unlimited everything package so the battery is used more heavily due to the all ways on Internet but it still lasts a good long time with the data connection off and just used as a phone it is 3 days between charges with all options active daily charging is a must, but overall an excellent phone.Read full review

No problems.
No problems, except the battery doesn't seem to last very long considering I don't even use it for anything other than texts, but it is a second-hand phone.

EXCELLENT VALUE SIM FREE ANDROID
Has excellent qualities usually found on more expensive phones. Good coverage and variety of apps installed. Downside, if any, is the battery which could have done with an upgrade. Also no earphones so listening to radio is very difficult. Otherwise would definitely recommend this phone.Read full review

Perfect for my needs
Compact, fast and reliable, worth every penny even if an old model. Wanted one of these models for a while, glad I bit the bullet and bought it.
