Doris Roberts shines in a less-than-usually-sappy Hallmark Christmas movie

Doris Roberts was in two Hallmark Christmas films as this charming character; this is the better one. I am indifferent or hostile to most Hallmark films, but I have an outright dislike to the ones with Candice Cameron Burre.This one though has a fine cast, and Doris Roberts as a charming nanny to two boisterous and uncontrolled boys, the children of a widower, is the standout. As with most Hallmark films, it all ends happily for everybody (this is not a spoiler because I've not seen one without a happy ending), but along the way, there is less sap and sugar than is usual for this good-goody TV channel.
