A kind of its own.. The Muppet Show!

There are no words to describe The Muppet Show. It is so different to any other show of the type.. if there were another show on that category, but there isn't any. It's neither a children's show, nor an adult show.. maybe it's a special kind, targeted to the child that we all have inside!.

Season 2 is especially amazing, with people like Julie Andrews, Steve Martin, John Cleese, Nureyev, Bob Hope, and if it wasn't enough, Elton John, who performed a couple of his songs in Muppet-like sceneries, and still looked and sounded spectacularly well.

I am a Muppet fan, of course, but how can I not be, when the puppeteers are guys like Jim Henson and his gang, who can take a couple of rags and create characters with their own personality?

All time classic with great quality of picture & sound

I used to watch the Muppets, as a kid, long time ago. The sense of humor in this production is, even nowadays, beyond any comparison. I'm very pleased to watch it again, in great sound & picture quality, discovering more of the producers' inspiration.

Muppets Series 2

What can i say you either love the muppets or hate them. Fab price for the full series 2.

The muppets are up to their usual antics with Kermit trying to hold the fort. The stars are in abundance and has the usual story lines that remind you why you love them. From piggy in pigs in space to the muppets you only see for the one time performance and never see again, to Fozzie and Gonzo.

The Muppets Strike Back

The Muppets are back with season two of the Muppet Show. Yet More guest stars subjected to the chaos and mayhem of the Muppet Show. If you have season one then you will be dissapointed to find that the muppet morsels are missing from this but apart from that and a dissapointingly unfunny first disk it's more of the same but now with Pigs in Space. If you're a Muppet fan, or interested in puppetry or variety performace, you must buy this, if you're not then the Muppet movies are a much better introduction to this rabble. English viewers may not be familiar with most of the special guests, but it's still a great piece of television history that probably will never be repeated on broadcasting channels.Read full review...

The madness of the muppets!

I absolutely adore the muppets. I grew up with the muppets and so when i found out that they were available on dvd they were a must for me to buy. You can't help but be entertained by them. I watched this dvd recently with two of my granchildren (a 1 year old girl and a 4 1/2 year old boy). I was very pleased to see that they were both giggling along as much as i was.
