Murder by Pride by Stryper

I have always been a Stryper fan. Did not know what to think when an older group releases new stuff several years later. Stryper still has there sound and energy that I remembered. The song sound great and have good staying power.
I really like the title track ( MURDER BY PRIDE ). I feel like it may be their best song yet...The message really hits home and really ROCKS. "PEACE OF MIND" is a pleasant remake of Boston's original, with M. Sweet really staying true to the original track. There are a couple other songs that I like as well: 4 LEAF CLOVER, and THE PLAN. They are ones I can play again and again with their catchy lines and choruses. The harder remake/version of My Love( I'll Always Show ) is a far cry from the other Stryper track with the same name. All and all this is a must for Stryper fans as well as a good album for new fans to pick up and listen to.Read full review...

Murder By Pride

I have been a support of Stryper since the Roxx Regime days. They were at the cutting edge of melodic metal. Their new release does not cover any new ground musically or lyrically. Michael's vocals are average and the music is nothing to write home about.

I found the album BORING! If I didn't already have a vast collection of Stryper material, I would not have bought this release. I wish there was something positive I could say about it... I cannot think of anything. Even the packaging is horrendous- probably by Digipak. They should have used a regular jewel case for it. new stryper cd pretty good

I am a Huge Stryper fan from way back.this cd is pretty good but not as good as the last one reborn.they went back to there 80"s style of writeing on this one and the last cd was more current on sound and heaviness.still a good cd.michaels voice is as strong as ever.(he has lost nothing)still an all around good cd but left me dissapointed after the last cd.glad im touring with them.there not the same without him.Read full review...

Good album!

I really enjoyed this album. Pretty similar to past efforts but progressive also. Production is very good and guitars are heavy. I liked it.

Stryper CD "Murder By Pride"

This is an awesome CD with excellent, Christian heavy metal music from Stryper. The music rocked my socks off, and I'm looking forward to more of that heavenly sound from them in the future.

I have been a Stryper fan since 1984, and I think this is thier best work ever! It sounds like their classic stuff from the eighties, but with a modern spin to it. Check it out!!!!
