Story of longing and untold aspiration

Sybylla is a young woman of the Australian outback, who is always at odds with her harsh environment and particularly with her mother. She finally gets a respite by being sent off to the fine estate of her grandmother near Sydney where she can find appreciation and a finer way of life. She meets a neighbor, who runs his own place and despite her lack of encouragement, other that wanting to be just his friend, he falls for her.

Comic and appropriate.

I tried to tape this movie twice and it was cut off before the ending. The movie, characters and acting was so engaging that I had to buy it to find out how it ended. Love the movie and the time period in which it was set. Excellent!Read full review
