Great game for any basketball fan

Great Game. The my player aspect is put together great and super in depth. Reliving Micheal Jordan and rewriting history is alot of fun and can be challengeing at the same time. This is a overal great game and everyone should have this one in their collection. I like this game alot especially since NBA Live has not came out with a new game yet. I like EAs games a lot better but this is very comparable to the NBA Live series.Read full review...

BEST NBA FRANCHISE GAME OF 2010

I love this item. This game is one of the best Nba Franchise games of 2010. It is scarily accurate in authenticity. Nba players look, act and feel just as if you were in their bodies. Precision shooting (everyone has their own release shot/no one shot is the same) which makes playing challenging, in a fun way. I decided to buy one for myself after I seen a family member of mine playing the item. THIS GAME IS FAST, FUN AND ADDICTING.Read full review...

One of the best modern nba 2k games

This game is a classic. This game started a popular trend especially for the game mode my player. This game will more than likely be considered one of the best nba 2k games

The best basketball game I have ever played!

I bought this product because it has excellent quality and the gameplay is magnificent. The players look so real! I personally like the my player mode, because you can build a player from the ground up, go through the NBA draft, play in the summer circuit, and even play and become a starter in the NBA! My favorite part of this entire game is the interviews after the NBA games in my player mode. I dislike that the skill points take so long to acquire, and the fact that the pick-up games are online. I also have NBA 2K9, which compared to NBA 2K11 is like comparing an XBOX 360 or a PS3 to a Gamecube. The association mode is also better the previous years, and the NBA draft happens just like it normally does. No more screen telling you who got drafted, now there is the actual big board with all the people that have been drafted. The teams draft more realistically, too. They draft people that help their team opposed to their overall rating. Another cool feature is the ability to customize everything about a created player's shot, and their tendencies as well. I highly recommend this game to anybody who likes playing basketball games, as you will love this game.Read full review...

One of the best 2k games ever made

I bought this game for the Michael Jordan feature. They did a great job putting some of his most iconic lay ups and dunks in the game. Definitely worth the 6 dollars or so I paid. Very fun

Great Buy!

Overall the game is a solid buy. MJ mode is definitely a breath a fresh air because after a while My Player can get old. However I'm not a fan of the new update requiring you to run plays in My player. It took the fun out of the game mode and is a bit unrealistic. However all the other features keep you interested and I really like the fact that you can download user created draft classes. I would certainly recommend it to all types of basketball fans...crazed and casual.Read full review...

NBA 2K11

The MyPlayer mode is awesome. You go through drills and draft combines to make your players better. You can move up and drop down the draft boards. You start your career usually off the bench, from there can earn a starting spot. You can request trades, see where you stand on the depth chart, talk to the media. It is a lot of fun.

Minor flaws would be them docking you points for a bad shot selection when you shoot a layup. Or for letting your man score when they changed who you were defending last second. Other than that the game is a must have

NBA 2K11 - Greatest 2K Game OUT!

This is one of the best improvements 2K has made in the basketball series. It's inclusion of the basketball legend Michael Jordan has brought a lot more star-power to the series and already has eclipsed the revamped NBA Elite series.

The gameplay is a lot more realistic than 2K10 with the plays running a lot smoother and shot selection being more important. No longer are superstars able to hit any shot (except for like Michael Jordan), and have to find better shots than a contested 3 pointer.

The Michael Jordan mode also allows to to relive through the world's best ever basketball player's moments on the court. They also point out how good his competition was in creating good replication of other superstar teams. If this mode is completed, the players have the option of placing Michael Jordan and playing his career through any modern-day NBA squad.

In all, the game takes a big step up from NBA 2K10 and allows players to get more involved in the sport through the ability to play as Michael Jordan.

love the game

i bought the game because i love nba 2k. i get it every year. this game is harder to play compared to the previous one i had purchased. it's definitely a challenge and people just have to get used it. but the whole thing of playing with the legends and playing the full season with legends is a good feature they added as trying to be the best in the game.Read full review...

Great Gameplay in 2K11

I've always been an EA fan, so I'd never played the 2K NBA series, and now I'm glad that I did. It has much more features you can use than NBA Live does- granted though that I haven't played NBA Elite, or don't know what's up with that.

I love the fact that, if you're connected online somehow, that real time information like stats, games of that day etc. are brought right to your screen. The My Player mode has to be my favorite as it's very interactive and I love to get better.

My only concern really arises when it comes to commentary, it's quite repepetitive if you play with the same team all the time (which you have no choice in my player, you're bound to hear the same things over and over).

Also, if you are an online player, I've come across many issues when trying to connect to games and disconecting issues which I can say that is caused by 2K's server because all players get ejected not just myself.

I've highlighted the bad more than the good which is usually the case, but the good heavily out weighs the bad in NBA 2k11 and I'd recomended the great gameplay to anybody.
