Hard boiled no problem, soft not so easy.

I bought this as I have not hob to boil water. It looks great. The quality is ok. It is a bit of a lottery as to whether you get the egg soft/hardness you want. I have ended up having to cook for longer as it just doesn’t cook it long enough if you are trying for a soft boil/poach. I will keep persevering but l’l not sure if it will happen.
