Always buy genuine Ford parts.
Always worth getting OEM products, I think. This was actually much easier to fit than the manual suggested. Yes it was tight, but with a bit of care, wriggling and patience it slipped in. This is a sealed unit which requires the electric monitor to be swapped into the new case - do not over-tighten. Remember the little lug at the back which must seat correctly. Needs priming before starting: I always use a big syringe fitted to the return pipe above the filter. My car is running so much better with this new filter fitted.
