New car upgraded dash cam
Quite a sturdy little thing the magnetic mount seems very secure, one thing to be aware of when positioning the cam it has a very wide field of view so you can get the rear view mirror mount in the picture if positioned wrongly which can be annoying.
Fitted the cam and the rear view camera and hid all the wires in less than a couple of hours.
I used a hard wire kit and a piggy back fuse to power the item to make it even neater.
Only problem I had was it is very picky on the SD card I tried 3 U3 cards from different manufacturers before it accepted it.
Set up was easy enough the app appears to run ok on the iPhone though a little slow to respond.
Picture appears to be excellent though I have yet to download and play one.
Overall very -leased with this purchase.Read full review...

The app you need to connect to this phone is useless. Check the reviews on Playstore before you buy this cam; I wish I had. I wouldn't have bought this camera. So forget Bluetooth, Alexa and emergency SOS. If you want to download footage you will have to connect the camera to your pc, they can't be copied to your smartphone. The camera itself is quite good. Picture quality is good and GPS works most of the time. You will also have to buy a large SD card which is not included with this product. I found the SD card also needs to be U3 speed. I tried a class 10 and its just not fast enough, the camera randomly stops recording.Read full review...

Excellent Dashcam, probably the best manufacturer on the UK market at the moment. I had a previous model Nextbase camera 312GW model. I upgraded to this 422GW, purely because the 422GW has a better frame per second capture rate. Increased from 30 fps to 60 fps. The replaced 312GW, i now use as a rear facing camera. The 422GW uses the identical mains power lead as the 312GW does, so no need to re-route the power lead. My only issue with the updated 422GW model, is that the magnetic fixing to the windscreen holder is incredibly strong. So if you wish to remove the dashcam when not in use, it takes a fair bit of welly to detach it, often messing up the angle of the camera when you come to re-attach the dashcam. Nextbase 422gw dash camera with rear camera
I had a dash cam for £40.00 but i wasn’t happy with the recordings and that the cheap camera not holding timing. So i have decide it to buy this one (i know its maybe more expensive but i HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!).
If you looking to have a peace of mind i would definitely recommend this product, all works fine, setting up and connecting took me 15 min, connecting to the app superb easy, the app its simple but that is whole point - SIMPLICITY ! - the app do what its design for !
In my opinion this is the product which will stay for a while.

Excellent quality - well worth a little extra
Superb quality footage, with some great features. It is so easy to fit, hardwired with the extra hard wire kit or using the supplied lead. It even comes with a hand little tool to help you hide the wire. The extra you will pay for the 422 is a really good investment, with crisp images night or day. I didn't buy a Nextbase SD card but instead bought a SanDisk Extreme 128gb for less but with all the same performance. best buy for price, later models now available
at the time it was the most suitable replacement for my really old Nextbase dash cam. this had given me evidence on two occasions that had saved me a lot of problems otherwise.
So far the new dash cam has performed really well. However today I received an email from Nextbase telling me all about their latest Dash Cam. so look out for their iQ camera’s. more expensive but latest technology that will protect you and your car with live video sent to your phone. note rear camera is extra but I think it is essential to capture all the silly stuff going on behind you. pity it wont work through tinted glass. I tried it.

The only unknown is reliability but I anticipate that there shouldn't be a problem in that respect.
