Not just for the fish
I purchased this for applying to fish wounds, but during fishing I got a hook stuck in my finger, unfortunately it was micro barbed hook, and so I had no choice other than to push the hook all the way through by pulling it out eye of the hook last to exit, a very painful experience let me tell you. I was out in the middle of no where in the Oxfordshire countryside so no hospitals or even a chemist was near, I then remembered my ngt fish antiseptic spray, I figured it was worth applying it as what did I have to loose, only my finger right, I opened the wound and vigorously sprayed the ngt antiseptic into the opening and tapped a clean piece of cloth around it, i resided to pulling my rods in for the night and went to sleep. When I woke up in the morning my finger was completely on the mend no soreness and no bleeding, thanks to the amazing ngt spray I was able to continue my fishing trip without any problems. I am not condoning that this spray should be used for human consumption, but in my own experience it helped me out and did not do me any harm. I later discovered that the main ingredient of this Antisepticspray was diluted potassium permanganate, which is a known effective sage anti bacterial  agent, which is also what gives it, it’s natural purple colour.Read full review...
