Great value for money, my new addiction! :)

So, lets use the little questions ebay has given me, shall we?
Why did I buy this product?: I love Nyx and I was so excited to discover that they had loose pigments! I adore loose pigments and have a large collection (missing purples) in my makeup collection. I ordered mostly purples and I do love this brand. It was such a good bargin too, since we don't have Nyx here in Ireland.
What do you like and dislike about the product? I really love the colour pay off on these guys! The shades are all so unique and you can create some beautiful combos with these! :) The only thing I dislike about this product is the packaging. The bottle is rather small and the opening isn't big enough to get a brush into. The lid isn't flat, it's a screw on, so you can't tap it out onto the lid like I normally do. To solve this little kink, I bought five, ten gram jars. They were filled to the top with pigment, something I was really impressed with. You actually get a lot of product in this little bottle!
How does this product compare to others? Well, I have the collection 2000 dazzle dust and I feel that they aren't as finely milled as these Nyx are. The finish of the Nyx ones are slightly metalic while some are quite sparkly. I like the variety of finishes while the collection 2000 just seems to be all sparkles.
I would definitely buy more of these bad boys because the colours are gorgeous! Hope this reviewed helped anyone debating whether to buy these in doubt. If in doubt: just remember that Nyx more often then not are great quality for money! And just look at all those pretty shades! In my opinion loose pigments are a must have and these are, as of now, the best pigments I have found! :)

Better than I expected!

I usually use Urban Decay and MAC brand pigments with my work in glamor makeups. I had been looking for an inexpensive brand to use for practicing some new techniques and came across NYX powders. I didn't expect much at under $3.00 a jar, but once I tried them I was really impressed! The pearl colors are very smooth and the colors "pop". A little goes a long way for shadowing, and in more concentrated areas the colors can be applied thickly and hold up very well through the day and under hot lights or outdoors. They mix well for eyeshadow, eyeliner, and lip tint as long as a makeup primer is used. The NYX powders are definitely going into my professional makeup kit!Read full review...

Great product, very pigmented. Poor bottle design but would repurchase.

I bought this product as an alternative to Mac pigments. NYX has always gotten rave reviews and I just had to try these pigments because of the low price, and excellent reputation. They are all very pigmented and go on great either wet or with primer. I don't feel like they would last all day without one. I find some of the colours to be quite similar, like rust and penny. Overall, they are a great product.

The one BIG negative would be the bottle opening. They are impossible to use as they are just too narrow. I didn't even attempt it. I went to a craft store and bought bead-organizer containers. Disinfected them with a bit of alcohol and poured (it wasn't easy, but certainly not hard) the product into the containers.

I would NOT buy this product for the regular price they sell at the drugstore ($6/each) in canada. There are a lot of great deals on ebay.

Pretty colors, multi-use and a little bit goes a long way.

It looks like you don't get a lot of product in the tiny little jar, but here's tons! The color selection is pretty, though I would have loved a true red. Ah well. The pearly finish is also very pretty.

Because of their loose nature, they absolutely have to be used with a base or primer, or they'll wear off in no time. The packaging makes it a little hard to work with, since they're loose and all, but if you can deal with not being able to control how much you get out at once it shouldn't be an issue.

Of course, there's gonna be fallout, but that can't be helped.

Very good product, very nice strong colors, but not practical for dayly grind

I bought this product because I wanted to have more diferent colors and very strong ones. And it's very good because of this. The colors are very strong when you put on your skin, very well pigmented.
What I don't like about it is that the powder is very very thin and it makes a mess... the particules get all over you and it's very hard to clean them off. But I think being thin is a good thing for lasting longer on your eyelids.
This is the first loose eyeshadow I use, but I read some reviews and all of them say that its quality is the same when you compare to more expensives brands, like MAC.

Overall a pretty good product for a nice price!

NYX Ultra Pearl Mania Pigments are quite a bargain at this price!
They come in pretty colors, all of which are pearl shimmers.
BUT: their packaging is very very tiny, you need to depot or press them for easy usability. There is also a little bit of fall out.
I bought 24 shades and have only used the bright ones (such as green pearl and very pink pearl. They worked well, I was really surprised.

If you are looking for cheap pigments to start with, give them a try!

Great pigments for beginners or pros!

Always been a fan of NYX and I love their Loose Pearl Eye Shadows. They're very pigmented. Hardly any fall out with the right brushes (although it is wise to use them wet). There are lots of overpriced eyeshadows and pigments out there and we all know what we can and can't afford these day so why pay more for a label when it's what's inside that counts? Just a little goes a long way with these so do not be fooled, 5ml is PLENTY! The only downside with these is that they don't come with a shaker. Y'know, some sort of opening to where only a certain amount comes out at a time. Friendly advice, before opening them, tap them on the desk or table you are at and that will help avoid a mess. Besides that there's nothing bad to say :)Read full review...

Lovely colours

I love the shades of these eyeshadows. They look bright but they all go on subtle, great if you like more neutral looking makeup. I especially like no. 12 it's a great pink. Looks dark but it's not. I get comments about my make up everytime I wear this colour. Just bought some more shades and very happy with them. The purple no. 29 is gorgeous not vibrate at all. Mink is a lovely warm beige with light gold overtones. Walnut is a nice warm brown. I've even bought some for my mother who likes her neutral shades. Wel, it was either that or she stole mine. Highly recommended and the seller was excellent and shipped them fast from the USA, I'm in the UK.Read full review...

Best product i used as far!

I'm using this product for 2 months, and i really glad i bought it. The reason i bought this product is, that i wanted to test how it works, because i saw a lot of girls on youtube doing makeup tutorials with NYX pigments and it looked awesome.
I really liked that pigment last pretty long on eyelid. It's perfect if you want to go somewhere you need to be longer than half of the day, don't need to take with u extra makeup. I didn't liked package, because it's really hard to take it from that small tube.
This product compare with others is pretty good, other eyeshadows last not so long, and always need to be corrected, and this one is my favorite, don't need to correct anything after u put it on.

Great loose powders!

Amazing powders, as I already knew they would be! Perfect pearl effect, and they last forever! I purchased 8 colors and I am really happy with them. And I don't only use them for make up, I mix a little bit with my gels and acrylics, just to give the final product a bit of that awesome effect! They can also be placed over polish, using some foil glue, it still shows the color underneath, but it also gives a second color's effect. And it works, trully amazing products! I would definately recommend them to a friend, and be sure that they will also be happy with their purchase.Read full review...
