Excellent way to add lighting to any case
Pros:
- magnetic strips for unobtrusive attachment
- great customization options
- ability to match the lights to various temperature readings
- sound reactive lighting option available
- cables are long enough to reach every corner of the PC
Cons:
- although quite powerful, the software still needs improvement in terms of user experience and stability*
- I would prefer the strip to be black, rather than white, but this is more of a personal preference
*If your PC fails to detect the device, just unplug it from the USB header and connect to the next one
Bottom-line:
I recommend this product to everyone who needs to have fully configurable lighting system with magnetic strips that are easy to move around.Read full review

Looks amazing, however it sometimes throws it's toys out the pram....
This allowed me to achieve full RGB Aesthetic with my PC. It offers a wide range of lighting choices and is easy to install. LEDs are very bright, and has many possibilities! Wide range of colours and white isnt too blue-y
However, one of my LED Strips just stopped working, however it wasn't the strip, the Hue+ Wasnt allowing the 4th strip in a chain to be controlled? The software is a mess! It's buggy, and often confuses channel one and two. I'm required to sign into the annoying software every time.
It certainly does the job, but with LED Strips randomly not working, flimsy connectors, unmanageable strips and weird cable lengths, i'd advise you to splash out a lil' more for Corsair's Alternative.

Absolutely wonderful!
Think it is absolutely stunning! The only thing I'm picking on is the software that sometimes can be a little buggy. But it's still a product that I highly recommend!
Brilliant product
Very bright and vivid colours, i enjoy the many lighting modes and the ease of use, set up very easily.
The controller box is very discrete and does not take up much space, it overall is a brilliant accessory.

brilliant product, but more difficulties than expected
I purchased this product and firstly i must say the service was fantastic, it was delivered within two days even with standard delivery.
The product its self is also brilliant, the RGB lighting effects have made my custom pc build come to life, i love that there are so many choices of LED configuration, allows you to put a real personal touch on your pc rather than the standard fixed red blue or green lighting you see so often.
Instilation was not the easiest. The module it self fitted straight into one of the ssd trays in my NZXT s340 case no problem, everything needed to connect it was present and cable management was easy. Unfortunately this is where the easiness ended. The Magnets were fine for positioning the leds but i found it very hard to keep the top led strip in place. The connections between LED strips were to easy to separate, meaning if you slightly moved one strip whilst connecting the next one along then previous connections could separate. I found installing the LEDS very tricky, which was disappointing considering it was in one of NZXT's own cases.
The only other issue ive encountered is the USB cable from the back of the module to the header on the MB. This is poor quality. I often have to go into my case and re-position it just to get the cam software (which is excellent) to recognise the HUE+ again.
Overall a very good product, only really let down by difficulty installing and the poor usb cable.Read full review
