Nothing too groundbreaking here. You may get a little more history on the writer of the book, J.R.R. Tolkien, but as far as the film goes, everything on this program is on the special features of the DVD (Fellowship of the Ring).

This was not a bad program, but I don't see any reason to buy this when you can just buy The Lord of the Rings and get this type of documentary with the movie.Read full review...

This DVD is exactly what it claims to be - a documentary about the making and history of "The Fellowship of the Ring." It's unfortunate that this same information is included on "The Fellowship of the Ring" DVD under "Special Features," so most people who are interested in it already have it and may not realize it. It shows with great feeling the inside work that is needed for making
REAL movies.
