Inexpensive alternative
I was in search of a Handguard to install on my 6.5Grendel Build that wouldnt break the bank, or break. I originally was leaning toward a Magpul Hand Guard since I wanted to keep the triangle sight, but felt a polymer Handguard for a 6.5 wasnt going to be satisfying in the long term.
I stumbled across this Hand Guard on Youtube, and found its feature set to be ideal for my needs. This isnt a war or Battle rifle, for the most part it will be a range gun for plinking, and making the occasional "truck Gun" role when out playing in the mud while hunting or fishing.
Installation was simple, the hardest part being the removal of the stock hand guard shells. Once in place it felt solid and gave me the confidence that it would not become loose, or fail under the pressures of use while shooting. The MLok system was a great bonus, and greatly appreciated. I have MLok on most of my rifles, so I have quite a few accessories that can be used on this gun as well.

Almost the best budget drop in handguard, but could use some tweaks.
I just recently installed the VISM M-LOK handguard in my AR. I got it to replace one of those cheap overweight drop-in quadrails in hopes of dropping some front end weight. It's definitely noticeably lighter than the quad rail. It's a very well built handguard that looks clean and is free of any milling defects. It holds accessories how it should and install was easy enough.
My one gripe is the fit. The taper on the end that contacts handguard cap just doesn't seat very well into the cap and causes a bit of back and forth wiggle. NCStar should really look into correcting this as it would greatly increase the fit and stability. They got the delta ring side right, but they just need to rethink the cap side.Read full review

Fits standard length carbine
This is a great product. Dont b fooled by its overall length it will fit in a standard carbine it messures and inch longer because the front over hangs the delta ring to make the weave rail on top almost seemless. It has white markings on the rail for repeated quick release alignment. Very light weight and still very strong. Couldnt b easier to install. I needed delta ring tool for removal of old handguard, but did not need it to install this great handguard. Best product overall that I used in my current ar build, will use again in future builds as it is a great pc of gun equipment.Read full review

Great fit - slim profile
