I have been using this stuff for years. It works for me and works at high temperatures in my coffee. I also use it in iced tea. My mother used it, so I grew up thinking that is how iced tea should taste. To be completely honest, it does not taste exactly like sugar, but if you want a substitute, it is adequate. Does not work for baking, where you need real sugar. You cam't fool chemistry.
