A good workmanlike tool.
The cutter works smoothly and the long handle is easily extended by telescopic means. The cutting teeth cut through privet easily and will also handle branches of 10mm plus diameter. The cutter is heavy to use due to the motor drive being near the cutting blades but this is more than compensated for by negligible loss of power through the transmission. Read full review

good but quite heavy to use horizontally
Although these are quite well made they are also very heavy to use when the shaft is extended. This because all the weight is in the far end. Holding it upright to cut the top of the hedge isn't too bad. Cutting the side of the hedge with the pole extended was far too much for me, even when I used the harness to help with the weight.Read full review

Looking for a trimmer/cutter with blade that doesn't get clogged with fir tree and leylandii foliage.
Found one. The diamond cut blade is very efficient. Fastest I've got jobs done ever! I have a lot and various types of hedging this cuts all of them. Money well spent.
