Although Max Sand aka Nevada Smith is supposed to be a "kid" in this movie,
it was made after "The Magnificent Seven" and "The Great Escape". If you can get past the fact Steve McQueen was 36, it is a fairly decent revenge movie, a role that suits Steve McQueen as perfectly as any of his best parts.Read full review...

The last time I saw this movie was in 1966 in Pittsburgh.
I was about 18 and was easy to relate to Steve McQueens role
and character. Had always been one of my favorite movies, but

What i liked about the movie was watching the mcqueen character grow from a boy
to a man and overcoming obstacles to get his revenge. What i didn't like was
that revenge will not bring back your loved ones, plus his role made you to believe he became like the men he sought. Of course, the was done much better
in #the Bravados" with gregory peck. But all in all, a solid western.Read full review...
