Great game!

This game is awesome! I see the hype about it now. You can play up to four players. The graphics are great. I grew up with the original super nintendo versions of this game and I was impressed!
r>I'm on world three so far and the only flaws I've found are:
-you can't save any time like you could in the old mario games, only after castles.
-the music SUCKS! why couldn't they have kept the original theme music for it?

Besides that, great game! Well worth the money. I like the new features, like the penguin suit that lets you slide on ice, or the ice flower that lets you freeze enemies. Has all the original stuff [except the music] plus more!!Read full review...

Another fun Mario game

This game is really fun to play and the kids just love it. Doesn't take long to get on to the controls and gameplay through levels is random unlike old versions of Mario. Graphics are good but cartoon good, not like newer life like war games.

Great game for all ages!

Arrived earlier than expected, had more scratches than I thought however it worked fine. My family and I play it everyday. When the kids fell asleep my wife and I stayed up playing it until 1 a.m. and we can't stop playing it or wanting to. Reminds me of Super Mario World on Super Nintendo but new age. Flash to the Past! Great moments in Gaming!

I purchased this game for my kids mostly, but after watching them struggle a little bit with it's simplicity I jumped in and was instantly transported back to my own youth. Now let me preface a bit here, I've been a nintendo owner since the NES was released, and I've enjoyed every mario game in existance. The new Super Mario Galaxy was fun and quite emmersive, Paper mario was also fun, but lacked the old school side scroller feel. That is where "NEW" Super Mario Bros' Wii comes in, This game is a total flash back to the original Super Mario Bros. Throw in some Super Mario 2 feel due to the characters, mix in a little Super Mario Bros. 3 with the overland and progression, now amp up the sound and graphics, grab your whole family and you've got "New" Super Mario Bros. Wii.

The only Con's I've come up with is the lax "bubble" system, if all of your characters are in a bubble, or die while you are in a bubble, you exit the level.
This game is not designed for smaller screens. Anything under a 32 inch screen and you are going to have to sit 4 inches from the screen to be able to make things out properly.
