I bought this DVD because my son has the first DVD and it was a good price. What is not to like about this film! Its creative and captures the imagination of people of all ages. Kids loved it and thought it was as good as the firstB they enjoyed the humour just needed a help with explaining who some of the historical characters were and why they were famous

I loved NATM 1 and didn't think this could possibly match up to it, but I was wrong. Many of the same characters feature, but the addition of Amelia Earhart is inspired and the new setting of the Smithsonian offers many new dimensions in addition to the natural history setting of the first film.
There are some nice twists to the story and the special effects are fantastic. If you enjoyed NATM 1, get this. You won't be disappointed.Read full review...

Night At The Museum 2- Escape From The Smithsonian

I already have Night At The Museum 1 and I really wanted the second one. Ben Stiller is great again as security guard. There are many characters from history, I think Robin Williams is great again. A return of the characters from the first film, Jed and Octavius. Amelia Earhart was great and General Custer, also a young Al Capone. It is a great film very entertaining lots of historical characters. I would recommend it as family viewing.Read full review...

Night at the Museum 2

I am always a bit wary of follow-on films as they never seem to come up to the standard of the first, but there are only a two that I can honestly name, one being the Ice Age trilogy, the other 'Night at the Museum 2'. Both 1 & 2 are brilliantly funny films, well acted, well shot, amusing story ... just fantastic all round brilliance.
I couldn't recommend this film enough, and there is enough action and little 'background' things going on that requires you to watch it a few times to catch them all without getting bored of the same story!Read full review...

I loved the first movie so was pleased when this second one was released. I was not disappointed. It is funnny with great effects and it is obvious that the stars had a good time making it. Feel good ending. No embarrassing sex scenes and no swearing, an excellent family movie.Read full review...

I have the original night at the museum film and was eager to get this one, my kids loved the first one and judging by the laughter all the way through from my youngest today they will love this too.<br>
i found it very funny and i thought it was definetly as good as the first film.
