Nikkor 105mm f2.8
This lens has just awesome creamy bokeh
Image sharpness is amazing
Its not f2.8 all the way at minimum focus its more like f3-f5 but when you are that close you want to have even more than f20r>
Autofocus is fast in normal range from infinity to about 50centimeters after that slows down
Highly recommend for portraits with f2.8 and all around portrait/closeup lense you can shoot beatifull sharp portraits and then you want to focus on just an eye you can do it without changing lensRead full review

Sharp Lens
I needed a lens to photograph fine art using cross-polarization. I wasn't sure whether to get a 60mm or 105mm micro (macro). The 105mm turns out to be perfect. I can be far enough from the painting so I don't block the light boxes. Great lens for my purpose. Rectilinear. Very shallow field of view.Read full review

Macro lens for closeups
This is an older Nikon macro lens. I have a newer DSLR camera. This lens can not auto focus with my camera but thats where the fun begins. The combination improves your knowledge of shutter speed and aperture. Not to mention patience to hold the camera steady. Love this lens. Manual focus allows me to focus on exactly what I want. Perfect for closeup photography.Read full review

Nice piece of glass
Extreemly pleased with the image quality of this lens. One thing only to mention that you have to conseder when you plan to buy it: f2.8 is available only between 3m to infinity. Then drops to f3 and f3.2 when you get close to about 1m. Getting even closer brings it down to f5. Other than that - love it.Read full review

Marco bliss
The Nikon Nikkor 105mm f2.8d is everything I wanted and needed for macro photography. I coupled the lens with my Nikon D7500 and could not be happier with the images.

Still a winner winner chicken dinner.
Nikon did it right when they made the Micro Nikkor 105mm f/2.8 D. Now understand that the Nikon D lenses will not give auto focus on the new Nikon Z6 and Z7 but I bought it to use with my Nikon D500 and D850 so I don't care about it not focusing on the new Z6 and Z7. I plan on carrying this lens with me in the field in Florida for close ups.
If your looking for a good Micro for your Nikon camera's you can't beat the D 60, 105, and 200 micro's.Read full review

Nice lens af-s focus a little slower than the V series. Best for stationary shots.
Awesome 1:1 Macro and a Great Deal
The only thing this great lens lacks is the fast focus of AF-S. But since most macro work is manual focus, it's not a big deal for most people. Optically a 5 for sure but some are hooke on AF so I gave it a 4 star but it's really a 5.Read full review
Very good lens, af works for coming not Marco stuff
This lens is a bit dated but works very well, af works reasonably well for most uses, only on macro it can get a little confused so best is to use mf.

Sharp lens good price!
Nice sharp lens, good for portrait and close up. I’ve had similar lens before, and I’d go with this one again. It’s adaptable and easy to carry.
