This coffeemaker had every feature I was looking for and then some. I had been trying thermal coffee makers but without the warming plate, they just keep coffee luke warm - not really good. The Ninja does everything and has a small learning curve, but once you get it - it's easy. Even the warming plate has adjustable time to stay hot from 0-4 hours!. None of this auto shutoff after an hour. It doesn't burn coffe either.

What I'm a little dissappointed with is it first soaks the coffee beans which is a good feature. But then in an an effore to make fast coffe, it dumps a lot of water in the filter at a time , not giving enough time to capture the pure essence of coffee. It does have a "Rich" feature which does slow it down but it takes a little longer to make coffee....in my opinion well worth the extra minute.

Last it has, besides a filter and adjustments from small cups to full carafes, it has a feature for k-cups which is great if you just one cup of something. I haven't tried the frother unit yet - its not a feature I need.

All in all it has a very narrow footprint and even the water canister can be moved to the side or back depending on the kitchen layout. Assuming it goes the distance for a few years I really recommend the machine. [Again its the CFP301 NOT the 201]Read full review

Excellent Coffee Pot

Makes good coffee, either a full pot, or single cup. I prefer using ground coffee for single cups but it makes K Cups, too.
