Well... it works as expected

I read that this can be used with a DSLite. I was still worried, but that's neither here nor there. The option to load up the... software (is that what you call the e reader menu?) showed up and I was able to enter into the menu just fine. I can scan the cards I have with it. Broke two gba link cables

The actual e reader slides into the gameboy and turned on, but when I went to insert my gameboy-GameCube link cable to the top of the e reader it would not go in, this is because the top of the e reader was broken. The metal prongs are all out of whack and in the improper positions. This broke two different cables I tried to make work by messing with prongs. A strange piece of Nintendo gaming history, a nice little collector's item.

Haven't gotten around to getting any eReader cards just yet, but it's working pretty well. Just gave it a quick dusting & wipedown, cleaned the contacts and it booted up fine.
