Pretty close
(Note: I only used it for a day, then returned it since I wanted to get a first party controller.)
It gets surprisingly close to a pro controller without being a pro controller. It has motion controls and feels mostly the same, save for the shoulder buttons which feel a bit hard to push, although I'm comparing it with a pro controller I owned for a year, so it may be worn down a bit. Visually it looks like a normal pro controller just without the usual logos.
The biggest difference however is that the hd rumble is just gone. This controller does have rumble, but only a binary hard rumble off and hard rumble off. This can be a bit of a pain for games like Splatoon which has a subtle rumble for when you are swimming which just becomes constant vibration with this controller. Granted, you can turn rumble off though, so it's not a complete dealbreaker.
I'm not sure if getting rid of hd rumble is worth $20-40 of cut costs, so there may be some other differences I haven't run into.
Unless there are some long-term issues that I haven't run into yet, this should be an alright substitute for a first party controller.Read full review

Cheap Plastic Joysticks - Less than two months of use
I have had this controller for less than two months and the left joystick has already become defective to where it gets stuck in the up position. The main controller feels like decent quality but the joysticks are noticeably cheaper plastic and will wear out very quickly. I highly suggest not buying this product. Read full review

Not officially licensed, but close enough to not notice.
Not an officially lisenced device, but still designed closely enough to not really notice as the shape and button layouts are pretty much on point with a real pro controller. The controller does lack the ability to remotely wake-up the console with the home button unlike an official. it fits comfortably in the hands and is an overall a great controller for the lower price point.Read full review

The Switch finally feels like a console
I’ve been using the small controllers for over 3 years now. And while the controllers have held up until their recent drift I decided to get the pro controller. Which is a major step up! It feels just right. Though I’m used to the xbox controller after an hour of play time I got used to the feel. I would try to find deals on the original price though.Read full review

Great product for the price
I ordered this for my Nintendo switch so I could play Smash Ultimate on the go and at home. It works very effectively and it was affordably priced. Enjoy this for Switching on the go.

Long battery life.
You can judge the button layout for yourself, for me it's okay, just not the best for using the d-pad in side-scroller games. The thing I like most about the pro controller is it's long battery life. I've never had the thing die on me even when I've kept it uncharged for a few days. Read full review

The best controller ever made.
Balanced. Well-shaped and sized for different size hands. Filled with sensors and motors that improve gameplay in subtle ways. The best controller ever made- and I've tried all of them including several third-party brands.Read full review

Best controller ever
The Switch Pro Controller is the best gamepad I've ever used. A natural evolution of Nintendo's best controller designs. For one thing, it has a logical layout - left analog stick lined up with the action buttons and B button below A, not above. It's built solid too. As is characteristic of the Switch era, Nintendo didn't go cheap on us. As a result the controller is extremely comfortable to hold. And finally of course, it's Bluetooth so I can use it for a lot of my PC games too.Read full review

Must have Nintendo Switch accessory.
This is an amazing controller. Its very comfortable
and a well design. Lighter then the xbox controller bc of the batteries and the switch pro doesn't need batteries.
