Would have been better if it worked
The converter is supposed to allow switching between sending a signal from an antenna and a signal from a video source such as a DVR to a TV without a video input. The unit I received is defective. When the DVR is switched on, the signal from it is sent to the TV. But with the DVR off, the signal from the antenna does not get to the TV. Inexpensive method to connect to old style TV
This allowed me to connect my DVR to my old style TV which has only coax cable. Works great. I have it connected to a splitter so that two tvs are connected to the DVR.
