Nokia V Iphone
To get this reveiw started i got rid of my iphone to back to nokia iv'e had nokia since iv'e had phones since the mid 90's, i thought i would see what all the fuss was about so i got the iphone 3gs and while the Apps are without doubt awesome, the the reception on the phone was appaling it would drop out of signal half way through calls then whilst saying it had a good signal just not bother to connect. So i got an N8 and appart from the lack of decent Apps (ican live with that) and the ovi maps just resets the phone half way through navigation. ican live with the fact that when i want to make a call it happens fact. and being the places i go it makes sense and im glad i went back to the N8. i was looking at trading up for this phone but it wasn't on the market at the time of my renewal, so i settled for the Iphone which in hindsight i now regert mostly due to wasted money but more over the fact of the poor reception. im glad i bought the phone ebay offered the opportunity for a cheaper than retail price, all hail Ebay.Read full review...
N8; very good, but not perfect
Good camera as you'd expect, night mode on video is a bit of a waste of time though. Bit of a pain with the 3rd party software, like skype wasn't available when I first got the phone. And using S60 works most of the time but some times freezes up the phone (reset my shortcuts a couple of times). Good video playback, and the GPS finds it's satellites SO much faster then my old N95. All and all a very good phone that could be a great phone if symbian 3 becomes more widely used and acceptedRead full review...
Smart smart phone
This phone is easy to use though the touch screen is sometimes a bit shaky.
When energy saving mode is turned on, the battery is life is reliable, the sat-nav is perfect, the sound is outstanding, the internet speed is acceptable, all I bought it for.

Great camera, great phone, good all round.
Right if your looking for a camera WITH a phone attached to it, this IS the one to get! A 12mega pixel camera with zoom and a pretty extensive photo editing suite on board hit all the right buttons for me personally. There are all the usual settings as well as sport, portrait, close-up, landscape, night, ISO, many more and a custom setting where you can set the camera up for how you like it. The only downside i've found is NOT having an aperture priority mode on here, but hey you can't have everything... just yet! It also works pretty good as a phone too, you can set it up to take all the latest updates Nokia supply through its Nokia Suite program you install on your PC. Battery life is good, tho its a fixed inside battery so may need the phone going back to the manufacturers to have a new one in eventually. Internet connection on an o2 pay and go is good. I've put a 16gig micro sd card inside because of all the pictures i take, tho it comes with its own 16gig hard drive built-in anyway. Other reviews reckon its an Apple iphone beater! Pictures i've seen off mates iphone's bear this out so in short i dont think you'll be disappointed with this model and i found mine for a real good price on ebay, a LOT lower price than in any of the high street chains out there. No need for expensive handset with this beauty
I love the N8 and had one for a few years until I had problems with the eyes and could hardly see the keypad.
Bought this for my son and he loves it too, so many facilities including its 12mp camera, on HD TV playback is fantastic, I love the address book which holds multiple numbers for contacts (unlike my S2)
Has a good battery life compared to most smartphones
Runs smooth and quickly through applications
good size and weight but so smooth it does slip so needs a silicon case
Screen set up is simple for access to your favourites
Only drawback was later on when I couldn't see the keypad and my fingers to big for the texting, but thats just me, anyone buying this model will be really pleased.Read full review...
Nokia N8
I have to confess that I am a "mobile magpie" and am always looking out for the best out there. This time though I was beguiled by the 12 megapixel camera on the device. The pics I had seen posted online seemed as good as any taken with a digital camera and in this regard I have to say I have not been disappointed (And I have had the Sony Ericsson Satio and Samsung Pixon12, both class leading cameraphones). This is without doubt the best camera on any phone there has been in my opinion. The battery life is pretty good too, I often get three or four days out of a full charge. Internet access is quick and easy. Now that I have been able to download Swype I text much quicker as well. The Symbian 3 interface is much easier to use than previous versions and movement through menus is very slick. I struggle to find any negative comments to make about it, the only slight drawback is that the Ovi store which Nokia users have for new applications is short on items and frequently won't download to the phone but my belief is that is down to the store itself and not a fault of the phone.
I would heartily recommend this phone to anyone who doesn't want to go the Iphone route especially if they would like a class leading camera that produces top flight still images and HD video too!Read full review...
Nokia - good quality and simplicity in usage
I had Nokia touch screen before, and i really liked it, so I decided to buy this model. I found Nokia brand better than others, because it is very simple to use it and it works properly much longer.

Good phone - standard nokia menu and setup
Great screen quailty and picture quality. Just as good as the Iphone (if not better)
Phone is easy to use and fairly quick
The menu and everyhting else on the phone is typical nokia, the same as the nokia N97, N900, C6 etc

Amazing cell phone
The camera is great! With 12Mp takes clear pictures and make videos in HD wich you can see direct on your TV using the HDMI out!! Fantastic!!! The touch screen is better than N97, much better, now is multitouch. What I didn't like is the music player. It separes the musics in band and album and not only in band like N97.Read full review...
