Phone as described and exactly like dad old one , battery life is good so far but as only had it a week so bit early to tell.

A great phone for text and calls. Font sizes can be altered which means I don't need my glasses.

Alarm can be set and will work with the phone switched off.

Nokia 1100

I was looking for a cheap and simple phone, just to make phonecalls and send texts, without any fancy stuff. I had previously had a big-button simple phone by a different maker, but it was relatively large, and the battery needed to be recharged every few days.
The Nokia 1100 is small and light enough to carry unnoticeably in a handbag (although obviously not a state-of-the-art phone in 2010); it does exactly what I wanted it to do; it is easy to operate; the user instructions are clear and easy to understand; the screen is easy to read (I've read reviews saying that the screen is hard to see in daylight, but I have not found that); the battery lasts for weeks between charges, with moderate use.
For my needs it is the perfect phone - in fact, I like it so much that I have bought a second one to keep as a spare, in case anything should happen to the first one.Read full review...

I bought this phone to replace my old Nokia 1100. I will only be using it in Spain for about 4/5 months every year and only want it for calls and texts. Reasonable replacement phone
