Perfect Looks - but not quite perfect performance

Although there are lots of phones which are better or cheaper - none of them are as sleek, well proportioned, and desirable as the 6600 (in my opinion). BUT - it scratches very very easily - mines been in a brand new case and has still got scratched. It often crashes/freezes on the mobile internet. Also the 'sliding' mechanism can go wrong - Be careful buying one second hand !!! If I could do things differently I would buy a brand new one with a guarantee. That said I am very happy with it so far - and it is a real pleasure to own.Read full review...

Great phone, smaller and thinner than the 6500 slide. All the functions you would expect with great video playback.

Not so clever on call volume and music play volume.

All in all a good "small" phone. I sold mine after owning it for a few weeks and went back to a physically bigger phone (6288), I was too small for my hands (big hands & fingers)

I would recommend this phone to females as it is "petite".

It has all the usual Nokia menus and robustness. This is a very good phone.Read full review...

First of all i must say i love Nokia's and have had quite a few over the years.I would say the 6300 was the best the only downfall was card memory space {only 2gb} so if you know anything about nokia's you will understand i'm waiting with baited breath for the 6700 classic which is due in 3rd quarter of 2009.I bought an E66 3 months ago this too was a great phone but it used symbian 60 operating system which for me was a nightmare, finding files/music etc was complicated and heeps of buttons to press to try and find things so this is up for sale. The nokia 6600 slide for me is a great phone it uses the symbian 40 system which is so simple to use but if i was to be picky the only fault i could find is the 6600 slide does not have an ambian light to inform you of an incoming call or message therefore if you have not heard your phone there is no way of knowing.Read full review...

the phone works ok but it could do with a better speaker in it as its not very loud and you get lots of missed calls because you cant hear it
