this is the only really satisfying vampire movie i've ever seen,dracula related or not. deeply gothic(not goth)and with interesting and strangely refreshing changes...lucy is dracula's antagonist,van helsing is a doddering old sceptic,and then there's what ultimately becomes of jonathan harker.a high point for herzog,kinski,and herzog regular florian fricke(popol vuh) who does the soundtrack.Read full review

Terrific movie!

I had this movie on vhs and enjoyed it so much I bought it on dvd! Very atmospheric, moody, haunting, a great soundtrack - this was a great remake of the original 1922 Nosferatu!
