my western digital hard drive and others I have ,did not fit through the entrance hole with a easy fit

Excellent product
Excellent product - unlike other similar hard drive bays this has a physical on/off switch so you have total control over when to run the drive. Ideal if, like me, you've transitioned fully to SSD and just want to use your existing hard drive for back up or to move bulky data back and forth. The adapter is well made with a solid release mechanism. If switched on the led will glow blue, or red when the HDD is active. When switched off the led is also off. There are screws included for mounting the adapter to the 5.25" bay, and I advise using them all for a secure and vibration free environment for HDDs, especially if you want to run it most of the time. One thing to note - try to enable hot swap for the SATA socket that you use for this adapter - you can do this in the BIOS menu of most motherboards. Then you'll be able to use the "safely remove hardware" prompt within Windows if you want to safely power down the hard drive fitted inside the adapter when the PC is running, or swap with others.Read full review...

Cheap and cheerful - very useful.
Very useful item for fullsize (3.5 inch) SATA hard drives - goes straight into the standard optical drive bay. Lacks the key/lock of some others but has a power switch which makes hotswapping much cleaner - two colour LED power/connection indicator is a nice touch too.Read full review...

I can use with windows 7 setup on one hard drive for photography, Because some programs will not run in windows 10 in windows 7 I don't need the internet.

Hot Swap 5.25” bay for 3.5” hard disks
Product as described, easy to install. Only downside the installed disk ran a bit hotter than the others in the machine, but just needed to keep an eye on it when transferring files etc.

Works as described, a bit of a tight fit for the drive though. One big minus was that the supplied screws didn't fit. I had plenty of spares but might have been a problem otherwise.
