BEFORE GREASE: A GREAT MUSIC STORY

Olivia Newton-john is a great country and popular music singer. Her voice is memorable in all senses. I have been a great collector of her songs. I only missed a song which was a movie soundtrack of The other side of the mountain, never issued on her cd collections everywhere. It is a pity. Richard's window is a great song where we could notice the soft and great Olivia's voice. But this collection is something, you must have it.Read full review

A fabulous 2 cd set which brings together many rare tracks from about 5 of her early albums which have not been available on cd for many years . It includes a cover of ‘If You Could Read My Mind’ which stands up on its own and is given an interpretation by Olivia which makes this classic song her own, there is also ‘Amoureuse’, ‘Music Makes My Day’ and the self penned tracks the heartbreaking ‘Changes’ and the beautiful ‘Rosewater’ so if you get the chance to buy this cd I would recommend it 100% to any Olivia fan who loves her music, she may be gone now but this set is just a small reminder of a massive talent who wasn’t just the movie Grease but a stunning and unique artist who has left us a stunning set of work.Read full review
