Fantastic Micro Four Thirds
This is the sharpest micro four thirds I own which includes a Panasonic Lumix 20mm f/1.7 (great), 14mm f'/2.5 (very good), and 42.5mm f/1.7 (also great). Allowing for terrific subject separation, depth of field and wonderful bokeh, the 75mm f/1.8 is a universally praised lens and was highly recommended in every review I read - including this one. I use B&W filters on all my lenses, mostly because of shooting style (fast), and definitely on this one. I purchased a JJC lens hood which works perfectly and easily costs half the Olympus lens hood. I use an Olympus E-P5 which is a great value for the money - used, in perfect condition (although the new Pen F looks fantastic but at three times the price). While this is a fairly large and heavy lens, it is by no means unmanageable, and it's weight is quickly forgotten when looking at the superb images this lens is capable of. Buy it..., you'll love it!!Read full review

Sharp , fast , color accurate medium telephoto lens for MFT cameras.
This is an excellent fast 75mm lens for my Olympus EM 1 camera. With the camera's built in image stabilization, I am able to obtain sharp photos handheld photos with excellent color rendition. It is truly amazing what excellent results I am able to achieve hand held. This is equivalent to a full frame 150mm lens so it is on the telephoto side so it may not be right for every situation such as indoor small rooms. But for portraits, the f 1.8 produces aperture produces amazing results. This lens works equally well on my Panasonic GH4.Read full review

Very sharp, fast lens but
Don't get me wrong, this is an outstanding lens. But at its regular retail price of $899 it's no bargain. It's not weather sealed and the hood is not included. For a prime at this price it should be. If you can find a used one for a few hundred less than retail, then it become a good value. It's very sharp with good contrast wide open but it gets ultra sharp just stopping down slightly. It's all metal and very well machined. It's focus by wire with no stops for manual focus. It has some heft to it for a m/43's lens but not overly heavy. It balances nicely on OMD bodies.Read full review

Olympus Surpasses Itself
There's nothing about this lens that isn't superlative. Very sharp. Build quality unsurpassed. Very nice bokeh. It is like a piece of fine jewelry. I have not yet had a bad shot using this lens. The only negative thing that can be said about it can also be said about any prime lens: You may have to be able to back up to compose a shot that will be within the confines of your viewfinder. Other than that, there are no negative features.
This is one of the best lenses (perhaps the very best lens) I have ever used.

More of a luxury than a most have lens, very sharp, poor at manual focus
The good news is that this lens is very sharp and renders the out of focus areas very nicely.
The bad news is that trying to manually focus this lens is a real pain. This is why it's a 4-star lens for me and not a 5-star lens. I was shooting at night with this lens recently and my model was being lit by a flash without a modeling light, it was too dark for auto-focus but I usually have no problem with manual focus but with this lens it took me quite a while to even figure out if I was focused in front of the model or behind her.
Whether this lens is a good value is something you'll have to decide for yourself. If you're planning on shooting portraits, the focal length is long enough that you'll either need to be outside or in a reasonably large room indoors - for that reason I know a lot of people who buy this lens end up not using it very often. On the other hand I've heard people who shoot stage performances or indoor sports say that this is a go to lens.
ebay is also asking whether this lens is durable. Honestly I don't know; I only got it a few days ago. I suspect it's about as durable as any other micro-four-thirds lens. I certainly haven't done any destructive testing but if you drop it on to concrete from waist level, it will probably break.Read full review

Wonderful lens
For the price that was paid, this lens was a very good addition to my camera collection. The photos I've taken have been so sharp and gorgeous! It is definitely one of the best Micro Four Thirds lenses available so far, despite running a tad pricey. If you can afford it and can adapt to the focal length, I certainly recommend picking this one up.Read full review

Beautifully Sharp
This lens makes you feel like your m4/3 camera somehow has a full frame sensor. It renders gorgeous bokeh and out of focus areas, the picture is ridiculously sharp (even when drastically cropped in) and it just feels good in the hand and on your camera. Bite the bullet and buy this lens if you are looking for a long range portrait lens, it will not disappoint.Read full review

Beautiful Bokeh
Many many reviews have already been written and they all say the same thing this is a wonderful lens super sharp with a wonderful bokeh. Remember this lens is a 150mm focal length full frame equivalent so that is the only negative. It’s a bit quirky to work with. For me it is still a nice portrait lens and occasional Tele but it will not see a lot of use unless I’m doing portraits that day. This lens was designed by Sigma so for those that like the art lens look they will be very satisfied. Some people complain about the price but this is not a budget lens but for $500 used to $800 new it is not expensive for a serious lens.Read full review

Sharpest 1.8 people Olympus makes!
Wow, this is a great lense. Sharp as a tack. The focal distance is a little tricky, you have to be pretty far away from the subject, but it's worth it. Really happy to have this lense, it's always in my bag if not on the camera. Pairs nicely with the 12-40 2.8 prime.Read full review

Compact telephoto with creamy bokeh
This is premium glass from Zuiko, with a fast 1.8 max aperature.
It's pricey, and doesn't come with a lenshood, but the images are razor sharp and the bokeh through f2.2 is creamy and smooth. The focal plane is a sliver at f1.8, so it takes a little getting used to, as does the 75mm focal length, equivalent to a 150mm on a full frame.
Excellent contrast, superb sharpness, creamy bokeh.
The trifecta in a compact package.Read full review
