Compact, comfortable and easy to use.

The lack of connecting tubes, and the inclusion of a pre-formed cuff make this unit easy to use, it is well made, and Omron is a brand that is respected for the accuracy of it's products.
The Omron Evolv automatic is a Which best buy scoring an impressive 93% in their tests.
To quote Which "The Omron Evolv is comfortable accurate and has plenty of features including an app to connect to your smartphone or tablet" The Which review currently states a product price of £100.

I am in the fence

I must admit, I am on the fence with this. It looks great and seems to be on the face of things easy to use.

However, it quickly becomes very frustrating when using this product due to the plentiful E5 error messages when trying to get a reading.

I quite often get a good reading on the first attempt of trying, then without changing a single thing I would more than often get 10-12 E5 messages leading me to give up which defeats the object when you are on a strict monitoring program.

I’m not sure whether the product I have is faulty, or it is just so sensitive that any small thing prevents readings to take place, but I am soldering through it at the moment.

So I can only score this a 3 as the link to the phone and the stats when it’s able to transmit readings are superb and very easy, but it’s actually getting the readings and moving away from the multiple error messages that gives me doubts.Read full review

All you could want from a BP Monitor

The unit is expensive but is neat, quiet and has a more pleasant feel during use than other BP monitors I have used. I like the easy link to the smart phone to collect and analyse the data and although there is no segregation within the unit for data from several users that is not an issue as the data is erased form the unit on download so more than one person can use the unit just down load the data between different users to their own Omron connect app. The unit is as I wanted and hopefully will last for many years. Omron Evolv: compact, easy to use.

The Omron Evolv tubeless blood pressure monitor is accurate and hassle-free to use. Being a GP myself, I found it much easier to use and get a reading from my patients. In addition, the cuff can pick up the pulse in any position in the upper arm and consequently can measure blood pressure. With the old style sphygmomanometer, if the cuff sensor for blood pressure is positioned incorrectly, you will not get a reading. It is good value for money. So far I am very happy with the Evolv. It is well made, easy to use & set up. The Omron app is pretty good too & syncing the Evolv to it is quick.
